Nice... January 2, 2008 Crispin Garcia 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I first purchased these for my new 2008 Honda Accord EX-L to complement the chrome on the car and though they looked nice I eventually ordered the 20130 version of the Cruiser chrome frame for the wider border.
It's slim, alright! April 14, 2009 Nick Nefsik 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Similar to another review, I also found that this frame is more of a overlay to a license plate (sits on top of the plate), as opposed to securing the plate underneath it, if that makes sense.
It *just* covers the edges of my AZ plate, which is fine, but I sure wouldn't want it to be any smaller around its outside perimeter. I also ordered the chrome covers for the screws (Cruiser Accessories 82030 Screw Covers, Chrome) that I was already using, and, altogether, it looks great, and is exactly the look I was going for.
nice and cheap, but good quality April 29, 2010 Tech & Nature (Seattle, WA) Just as the title says--Nice and inexpensive, but good quality. Much better than the cheap plastic frames with the dealers' names.
Great for a purpose June 5, 2010 Matthew Arrington I've bought 3-4 of the slim and regular chrome frames made by Cruiser Accessories at the local Autozone. Usually with a clear plastic lens and chrome-look screw covers.
They don't hold up well to Indiana weather: After 8-12 months they get pitted and discolored, and the chrome finish rubs off the plastic screw covers. It looks really shabby.
So what makes them great?
They're cheap as heck and look sharp long enough for you to decide if you like this kind of thing. So it's a great way to try it out without the investment. Depending on your environment, they might even last for you.
If you try it and find you like the look but find they don't last, you can always move up to a higher quality polished stainless steel frame. I've had one of these for about 2 years now and it still looks brand new.
Solid metal, looks good September 12, 2009 J. Coulter Solid metal piece, I'm sure it will last a long time. Looks a lot better now without that dealership frame on the truck.
