I've used the jack stands twice now and they work great. The design seems good, safe and are easy to use. I have a GMC Sierra 1/2 ton and went with the 3 ton design based on the company's recommendation.
When I researched this product I was confused as to whether I was buying a box with two (2) jack stands in it or purchasing just one because they kept refering to "each".
The box is a pair of jack stands for anyone wondering.

I recieved these jack stands as a gift. They are a perfect match to my existing stands ( old craftsman.. pre china ) I use them when I need to put the entire vehicle on the stands. Height isn't high enough to get lots of clearance but enough for my needs. Solid construction, good welds and nice finish. The corners are re enforced also. For the price you won't be disappointed in the "Big Red"

Sturdy and strong, but not tall enough to support my Acura MDX (which is not a tall SUV). Fully extended, the saddle of the stand is 16 1/4" tall. My SUV jack mounts are 15" off the ground. Apparently, I needed to account for several inches of suspension travel. I would recommend this product to someone with a sedan or smaller car but in that case, you could probably get by with a 2 ton version. I gave 4 stars because the 3 ton stands aren't tall enough for my <3 ton vehicle.

They are nice jack stands. Function correctly. Look nice. If your going to use them on any thing bigger than a compact car, then look else where. I didn't like how the spec page doesn't tell you how high they reach. FYI its around 15" or so. Hope that helps.

I have found the jacks to be solid and they seem to do the job. I wish I had bought them a bit taller. By the way, the tab that you bend in place is only to keep the rachet from coming out of the stand. It does not support three tons and is not a secondary safety feature, just a simple stop to keep the two parts together.
