Amazon.com Product Description This one-bicycle fork block allows a bicyclist to securely transport a bike in a van or in a truck or to securely store a bike just about anywhere, including on a wall. It has a 9-mm skewer that firmly grips a bike's fork and a heavy-duty base that bolts to any solid surface. About Hollywood Racks Hollywood Racks started in 1973 when they began making trunk racks in the back of our bike shop in Hollywood, CA. As a retailer, the company knew exactly what people needed: good quality products that were easy to use. They earned a great reputation fast and began selling racks to other dealers, and later to the bike companies. Today, Hollywood Racks builds racks the only way they know how: simple, strong, and secure. Hollywood Racks are built with top-quality materials including high-strength steel, aircraft-quality fasteners, and thick powder coats to withstand the elements. Generous amounts of padding protect bikes and cars, and all of their products are fully covered with a limited warranty. The company's products continue to receive accolades from all the major outdoor sports magazines, and are in demand by everyone from recreational cycling families to weekend warriors to race teams on the road and off.

Great value for the price! June 21, 2009 J. Russell (Detroit, MI) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought two of these for what it would have cost to buy one of lesser quality at my local bike shop. I screwed them into a 2x4 to put in the bed of my pickup truck and they work just great. I was surprised at the workmanship quality of this sturdy fork mount. Highly recommend the product.
Does the job January 5, 2009 D. Williams (Bethany, OK USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I mounted four of these along on the side rails of my 10 foot utility trailer in order to haul my my family's bikes and camping gear for weekend outings. What can I say, it does what it's supposed to. The only problem with the rig is that the rear wheels migrate toward the back of the trailer (since bikes are sitting perpendicular to the direction of travel). A few long zip ties fixed that.
Economy priced but built to last September 21, 2009 Stephenowitz (Virginia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This rack system is simple, but gives you flexibility. It worked great for me because I already have a hitch mounted cargo carrier. All I had to do to make it a bike rack was to drill these T970 Fork blocks to it. I bought two. Holds my bike and my wife's bike very securely. I would highly recommend this product.
Happy all the way March 20, 2009 Jean Francois Busque (USA) I saved myself at least 220$ and I now have the freedom to carry my bike on my SUV after only drilling 2 little holes in my factory rooftop rack. I use 2 bolts, couple rubber washers and 2 wing nuts and that is it! I use a strap to secure the back wheel.
It is easy and fast to setup and take down. It looks like it was factory installed. This will put THULE out of business. Can't go wrong with the price either.
Just what I needed! April 10, 2009 BikeZilla (WI USA) Mounted 2 of these on a 2 x 6 to transport 2 bikes in the back of my pickup. Drove from south Texas to southern Wisconsin and never had a problem.
