strong rope March 16, 2008 Ed Manti 10 out of 14 found this review helpful
Wether camping, or just a day hike, rope is an essential for all packs. This is a low volume rope that is very strong. Just drop it in your pack and forget about it till you need it. Used it to string two packs between trees in the Smoky's, held all night easy to untie and bring down.

Pronounced in the military jargon as five-fifty cord. This is an essential, light-weight cord that will fit into any backpack and not take up much room. This is a military style cord that has 1001+ uses. You can even cut this cord in pieces and extract the individual strands and use them for whatever purpose you have in mind. This cord is very strong and is pert-near impossible to break.

This is a must have for any survival kit. Tough and durable the uses are too many to count. If you are going to be in an outdoor situation this rope will serve you well.
yep, this is rope April 25, 2009 adjective (place) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Good basic, lightweight rope. Not as strong or compact as good para cord, and it frays more, but previous reviewers correctly praised its suitability for vehicular/survival kit use. It's quite adequate for securing tarps. Not for lack of trying, but I haven't managed to break a strand of it yet.
Lightweight, Great strength July 10, 2009 Mat (Baltimore, MD) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Having a good amount of cordage is a necessity and this albeit pretty standard, is good to go with. Very lightweight, synthetic, all around reliable.
