Starting a group interested in the Middle East can have a lot of
positive rewards. We are in the lucky position of getting to meet
groups in different areas of the New Hampshire/Vermont region, and
it's always a surpise to pull into a driveway, library or church
parking lot, and meet the people who have gathered.
The short way to say it is that you won't be disappointed by your
efforts.

Having a speaker appear before your group is an effective way of getting
people interested. We offer both
NH/VT and national
resources for finding speakers.
A similar thing can be said for showing films and videos. There are
three good sources of films reviewed here, but we want to highlight
Women Make Movies...though each
film costs about $100 to rent for public showings the quality and
range of what is available - from the Middle East as well as other
parts of the world - reflects views and content rarely shown in the US.
